Rugby sessions from Plymouth Albion

Eoghan Grace, a flanker for Coventry and previously Plymouth Albion rugby squad came to Mill Ford to teach a series of rugby skill lessons to our pupils. Each week we played a variety of skill based games and learnt how to move with, pass and kick a rugby ball. Eoghan was very enthusiastic and had a great relationship with the pupils who all really enjoyed the lessons. A particular highlight was when Eoghan brought in the rugby 'tackling pads' and pupils had to run the gauntlet, trying to get past Eoghan and the teachers to the other side of the hall. Wonderland class have been invited to visit Plymouth Albion rugby ground for a training session and a tour in the near future.
