Much of our work is devised to meet individual needs and is supported by the pupil’s Individual Education Plan.
Our pupils’ acquisition of skills and knowledge takes place in a broad and stimulating environment with an emphasis on getting along with each other in an exciting and changing world.
The Core and Foundation subjects of the National Curriculum can be found running throughout the school curriculum.
Our pupils’ capacity for independence is a high priority and this is reflected in our regular excursions into the community by school minibus or public transport, our commitment to swimming and outdoor pursuits, and our provision of low cost residential activities.
A major focus of all our work is the development of communication and language.
