Salary/Grade: Grade E, Points 15-20

Description

Salary Scale Grade E point 15 – FTE £22,911.00, Actual Salary £7,731.55 per annum (new NJC pay award pending)

15.58 hours per week (2.5 days) – 39 weeks per year, one year temporary contract - in the first instance

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with a love of learning and a sense of fun to join our team at our main site and satellite site (Ernesettle Community School). The post will involve working with pupils who have complex needs and autism. The duration of these contract will be temporary for one year only.

*Please note: the exact start date is dependent on government guidance re Covid 19

It would be advantageous for applicants to have experience/knowledge of working with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Disability (SLD) and profound and multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) . All applicants should have experience of working with special needs pupils and a relevant NVQ (or equivalent) qualification as well as their own resilience to support our pupils on a daily basis. Our pupils individual needs and education is of paramount importance to us, we work closely with parents and carers as well as other support agencies to ensure that this is delivered in the most appropriate manner. Training and support will be provided to successful candidates.
