At Mill Ford we do all that we can to ensure our pupils are healthy, happy and confident; we achieve this using a THRIVE approach.  The THRIVE Approach uses research in neuroscience, attachment theory and child development to help us achieve this so our pupils are ready and open to learning. 


We see all behaviour as a means of communication and the THRIVE Approach helps us to understand this and nurture and support children and young people to develop their methods of expression and if they can't it helps us to understand what is being communicated. We have a staff member who is a trained THRIVE practitioner and he ensures we continually this positive approach.
