Mill Ford School

Admissions

Visits to the School for prospective students are very welcome however, please be aware that to book a visit your child must either have an EHCP  (Educational Health and Care Plan) or be in the process of applying for one.

Please contact the school office to book a viewing.

Pupil places are allocated through the 0-25 SEND team at Plymouth City Council and this includes pupils who reside in Devon or Cornwall. If you wish to request a place please contact the 0-25 SEND team at your local authority.

Admissions may take place at any time during the year if places are available. But we always encourage prospective parents/carers to visit the School bringing their child with them, if appropriate, before making any decision. This includes Post 16 admissions.

Once a place has been offered we will work with parents/carers and other professionals involved in a child’s life in order to ensure a smooth and positive transition. As with all that we do, every transition will be personalised to each child’s needs. Please see the Transition section of this website (found under the Learning Tab) for more information regarding transition arrangements.
